HR firm sees it as the fourth major destination

TIRUPATI: Dignitaries at the inaugural of the local office of Ma Foi Management Consultants said that Tirupati was emerging as a leading knowledge destination in the South. Tirupati is the fourth destination for the global HR firm in the State after Hyderabad, Vizag and Vijayawada.

Veena Noble Dass, Vice-Chancellor of Sri Padmavathi Mahila Viswa Vidyalayam (SPMVV), saw great scope for Tirupati to emerge as a major centre of skilled human resources.

She said that the varsity, from which about 1,500 women post-graduates pass out annually, would start MBA courses in emerging areas like banking, insurance, hospitality, tourism and hospital management.

She also explained the plan to start an accent training academy to hone the communication skills of girls to meet the needs of the job market.

Former MLA and leading industrialist, Chadalawada Krishnamurthy, said that Tirupati was growing faster than other cities and towns in the State and expressed the hope that institutions involved in training and recruitment would have a promising future here.

Explaining the company's HR packages and strategies, K.Pandiarajan, Ma Foi's Managing Director, expressed happiness over starting operations in Tirupati, an educational centre, having half a dozen universities and scores of colleges.
