Ma Foi to train SC/ST youth for careers |

Tamil Nadu Adi Dravidar Housing and Development Corporation (TAHDCO) has retained Ma Foi Academy to provide an entire range of programmes with a view to enhancing job opportunities for the educated Tamil SC/ST youth.
Ma Foi Academy is the career skills training division of Ma Foi Management Consultants Ltd. This initiative will provide two sets of programmes: Additional programmes for present SC/ST trainees undergoing vocational training programme and new programmes for prospective trainees.
The additional programme is the soft skills and placement preparatory programme for trainees who are presently undergoing vocational programmes at various institutes in Chennai and other places of Tamil Nadu. This 18-day programme will focus on improving self-confidence, communication skills, interpersonal skills, customer service and interview skills. The first batch commenced on May 18 at the NIFT campus.
The new programmes will provide an opportunity to TAHDCO candidates to be trained in their regular programmes that are focused on the vertical based employment opportunities, starting with WordCraft, RetailCraft and SalesCraft.
The first batch for the WordCraft programme is set to commence on June 10, RetailCraft programme on June 25 and SalesCraft on July 1.
