Ma Foi closed the Q2 (AMJ 2005) with revenue of Rs 47.29 crores as against Rs 27.17 crores for the same period last year, registering a growth of 75%. Net revenue was at Rs 14.29 crores as against Rs 8.8 crores for the corresponding period.
The second quarter witnessed hectic activity across business segments.

The flexi staffing division of Ma Foi scaled up to 14093 deputees, maintaining its leadership in the temping business. Total placements crossed 60,697, spread across 30 countries till date. The division signed up a European telecom major to recruit 1000 people for their BPO and IT services divisions at Gurgaon. The division also consolidated its strengths in the financial services domain with significant client acquisitions.

The staffing solutions division recorded highest number of high value placements during this quarter.

Ma Foi Global Search Services Ltd. (MGSSL) consolidated its international presence with membership in the TAPLOW Group, a global search consortium in addition to the International Executive Search Federation (IESF).

Ma Foi Consulting Services Limited (MCSL) successfully completed the World Bank aided Maharashtra Health System Development Project .The project involved intensive training and customer sensitization for over 6000 healthcare workers in seventeen district hospitals. The MHSDP project has won the coveted National Award for Best Consulting Project in 2003 from Consultancy Development Centre and has tremendous scope to be replicated by other government departments and states.

The Career Training Division - Ma Foi Academy, which was launched in November 2004, registered healthy growth in a short span. The Academy signed up with Government of Orissa for training and has successfully completed the first batch. It also launched franchisee operations with the first Business Partner Operations at Vishakapatnam.

Yet another important milestone for Ma Foi Academy during this period is the strategic association with Tamil Nadu Adi Dravidar Housing and Development Corporation (TAHDCO) to provide an entire range of programs to enhancing employability of educated Tamil SC/ST youth.

Ma Foi won the Madras Management Association's award for Managerial Excellence -2005 in the Services categories.

In the overseas operations front, Ma Foi Lanka sharply scaled up its deputees in the BFSI and manufacturing segments while Ma Foi Oman strengthened its base with more client acquisitions in the BFSI sector. Ma Foi London registered a phenomenal top line growth of over 400% in H1 of 2005, leveraging on its strength in the Perm and Flexi Staffing businesses.
